Job Summary

Flagship Restaurant Group is currently looking for a Sous Chef to join our team

at Blue Sushi Sake Grill in Naperville IL .

The Executive Sous Chef working directly with the Executive Chef is responsible for managing daily BOH operations while striving to create a comfortable and professional atmosphere for employees and exceptional experiences for our guests through outstanding teamwork.

Compensation Benefits:

  • $60000-$65000 annual salary depending on experience

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of high-volume culinary experience preferably 1-2 years in management.
  • Culinary school education is preferred but a combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
  • Knowledge of computer programs like Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and familiarity with restaurant management software. Proficiency in Compeat Advantage is desirable.
  • Proficient in the following restaurant functions: food planning and preparation purchasing sanitation company policies and procedures personnel management recordkeeping and preparation of reports.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license be eligible to work in the United States and agree to background check upon request.

  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Displays strong knowledge of food safety regulations sanitation practices and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • Attention to Detail: Possesses keen attention to detail in plating garnishing and food presentation upholding the aesthetic and quality of all dishes.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work together with team members across various roles that contribute to a smooth dining experience for our guests.
