Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Managerto join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing and growing the client portfolio ensuring exceptional service delivery and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of independently managing a book of business and a passion for delivering tailored employee benefits solutions. This position offers a hybrid work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $60000 - $85000 (depending on experience)
- Competitive benefits package 401(k) paid time off professional development opportunities etc.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a book of business ensuring client satisfaction and retention
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their unique needs and providing tailored employee benefits solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to quote new and renewal business
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide expert guidance to clients
- Participate in client meetings both virtually and in-person to present solutions and address inquiries
- Contribute to the growth of the organization by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2.5 years of experience managing a book of business independently
- Strong understanding of various funding models; specific account-based experience is not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients
- Proficiency in relevant software tools
- Self-motivated detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with local clients
