Job Summary

Overview McCloskey Mechanical is seeking a highly experienced HVAC/R Technician with specialized expertise in Commercial Refrigeration Systems Rack Refrigeration & Glycol Chiller Systems.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of mechanical system diagnosis troubleshooting and installation across Commercial Industrial Pharmaceutical and Institutional sectors.

This position requires a technically proficient individual who can operate independently respond with urgency to complex challenges and maintain a high standard of safety reliability and workmanship.

Core Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair Commercial Refrigeration Systems Rack Refrigeration & Glycol Chiller Systems.
Perform installations startups and retrofits of commercial/industrial HVAC and boiler equipment
Troubleshoot and service HVAC/R systems including DX systems chillers AHUs RTUs VAVs BMS/BAS controls and related components
Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics control wiring diagrams and equipment specifications
Ensure compliance with all local codes safety regulations and internal quality standards
Maintain detailed service records reports and documentation in accordance with company protocols.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Commercial Industrial or Institutional HVAC/R and boiler service
Strong proficiency in combustion analysis control logic hydronic system design and steam principles
Valid EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
Solid understanding of building automation systems (BAS/BMS) and control integration
Excellent troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently or as part of a technical team
