Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg Telemetry
Location: Cleveland OH 44195
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Options:
Day: 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Night: 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Pay Rate: $60 - $65 per hour
Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Requirements:
Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel or perm).
Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to first travel assignment.
Active Ohio RN License or Compact State License in hand.
Certifications Required: AHA BLS ACLS and NIHSS.
Must be willing to work rotating shifts (day/night as needed to meet operational requirements).
Must be available to work every other holiday.
Completion of ECG Rhythm Recognition Test and SafeMedicate assessment with acceptable scores during orientation.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in Med/Surg Telemetry units.
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; promptly identify and respond to changes in patient condition.
Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
Collaborate with physicians care coordinators and allied health staff to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Educate patients and families on treatment plans post-discharge care and health management.
Adhere to infection control patient safety and hospital policy standards.
Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities.
Work every other holiday as scheduled.
