Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications injections and treatments as prescribed by physicians or registered nurses.
Monitor and document residents vital signs symptoms and overall condition.
Assist in developing implementing and updating resident care plans.
Provide basic nursing care including wound care hygiene assistance and mobility support.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Educate residents and families on health conditions treatments and post-care needs.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations facility policies and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine (or compact licensure where applicable).
Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.
Strong knowledge of nursing procedures medications and resident care techniques.
Excellent communication organizational and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
