Job Summary
Intern IT Security
We are offering an exciting IT Security Internship within our global technology organization where you will gain hands-on experience in protecting and strengthening our companys digital landscape. You will be part of the international IT Security team and we are looking forward to sharing our experience with you.
Location: Rotterdam Office
Availability: 4/5 days per week
Duration: February 2026 at least 6 months
What will you do
You will support ongoing initiatives in cybersecurity monitoring risk assessment and compliance.
You will collaborate with IT and security experts across different regions to implement security best practices.
You will assist in evaluating emerging technology risk and assessing the threat landscape within our dynamic global business environment.
You will monitor security alerts from various tools and systems analyse phishing attempts and help to handle and escalate security events as needed.
You will assist in developing content for and enhance ongoing security awareness programs.
You will maintain security documentation and update security policies guidelines and procedures.
About you
We are looking for a talented young professional with the following background and traits:
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Technology or a related field;
Fluent in English (written and spoken);
Excited to be part of a dynamic and international company;
Hands-on and proactive with a can-do attitude;
Strong analytical and IT skills combined with a genuine interest in people;
Positive authentic honest and trustworthy in your approach;
You like to be part of an international and dynamic team and environment;
Available for at least 28 or 32 hours per week for at least a period of 6 months from February 2026 onwards.
