IT Area Lead (Engineering Manager)

Roles and Responsibilities:

A successful IT Area Lead for Data Management & Personalisation

• Defines the vision for data management and becoming a data-driven company in close collaboration with the tribe lead IT lead and other IT area leads.
• Drives the delivery of new commercial data products and the impact of key strategic programs that require updates/changes to the data products.
• Create the vision and roadmap to move to the new customer interaction capabilities and drive the execution of the delivery by own teams and global teams.
• Drive change and continuous improvement fostering a high-performance culture within your team.
• Creates an excellent team with ML/AI engineers and drives the delivery of new (GEN)AI solutions in close cooperation with the different business tribes.
• Manages IT budget ensures commitments to risk security and compliance.

How to Succeed:

IT Area Lead is an ambassador for the ING culture (Orange Code) and meets the requirements of the associated managers conduct profile. This role requires emphasis on the following:

• A Masters degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
• Broad experience with leading data analytics and AI teams and the delivery of data & AI solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of data strategy data architecture data management analytics & AI and data-driven way of working.
• Experience in leading transformation and innovation.
• You nourish a high-performance culture have a growth mindset collaborate well and are solution-oriented. You embrace change and inspire others to do the same.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly influence decisions and lead discussions with conviction.
