A Day in the Life

As a Compliance Specialist Transparency you will play a crucial role in supporting our global transparency reporting program. Collaborating with a diverse team you will ensure compliance with U.S. Open Payments and other international transparency requirements by collecting reviewing and reporting data on our interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large data sets demonstrating proficiency in processing and organizing substantial volumes of data on a regular basis. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies are highly desirable qualities for this role.
The Compliance Specialist based in Bogotá Colombia will report to the Compliance Director based in the U.S. who oversees global transparency reporting. This is a full-time hybrid position in Bogotá with a one-year term intended to provide coverage during a team members planned leave. Expected start date is February 2 2026.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Collaborate with internal teams to compile review correct and submit data as mandated by federal authorities in the United States and other regions. All deadlines must be met
- Maintain and update Healthcare Provider (HCP) and Healthcare Organization (HCO) databases for accurate reporting
- Support employee training and communications that focus on the elements of transparency reporting and proper data capture within source systems
- Respond professionally and promptly to inquiries from our business partners related to transparency reporting requirements and guidelines including providing ad hoc reports
- Assist with the dispute resolution by reviewing data accuracy and facilitating remediation
- Prepare summaries and presentations for management on reported data and key metrics
- Escalate issues appropriately to ensure compliance and data integrity
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Completed Bachelors degree in any discipline
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Strong computer literacy including highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
- Familiar with query tools such as Power BI Business Objects Tableau etc.
- At least two years of experience in one of the following areas: data analytics financial reporting regulatory auditing and monitoring operational role with technical emphasis
