Job Summary
Summary of Job description
Prepare and check pump drawings using AutoCAD and 3D modeling software such as UG NX.
Develop and release part drawings for key components including Volute Casing Casing Cover Impeller Motor Lantern and other major items for procurement and manufacturing
Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for special pumps using SAP software.
Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and pump fundamentals in design work
Prepare order against cross section drawing for customer submission.
Prepare initial/preliminary drawings for bidding purposes based on TSS (Technical Support & Sale) requirements.
Qualification and experience-
ITI Draughtsman / DME with 3-6 years of experience in Product development.
Functional / Technical Competencies-
Knowledge of Manufacturing Process including assembly fabrication and testing
Exposure to Auto CAD and UG NX
Exposure to 3D modelling is must
SAP (MM module) awareness
Exposure toExcel Word Power Point applications
Possess basic understanding of materials and their properties relevant to pump components.
Experience in pump development will be considered an added advantage.
