Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for Simulation Coordinator to join us in a permanent full-time role. Based at our Springfield campus these roles will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield opening early 2026. As Maters newest public hospital this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With 174 public beds ICU maternity emergency and surgical services its set to care for over 200000 patients annually.
As a member of the Simulation Programs team you will provide coordination and support for a range of experiential simulation-based activities including planning development delivery and evaluation of simulation activities within Mater Hospital Springfield facilities and off site for commercial activities and projects.
Salary range: $54.44 - $58.30 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
What youll be doing
As a Simulation Coordinator you will be responsible for the coordination of diverse simulation-based activities including allocation and preparation of simulation will support delivery of high-quality experiential simulation-based activities providing expertise and guidance related to scenario design simulation technology applications equipment selection moulage and console operation.
As a valued member of the simulation services you will also have an integral role in the provision of psychologically safe environments for learners participants colleagues and other faculty during briefing debriefing and faculty professional development responsibilities will include:
