client is a leading Managed Service Provider. Based out of New York City they are looking to hire a Senior IT Project Manager on a Contract to hire basis.

Contract Duration: 6 Month Contract to hire

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in program or project management preferably within a professional service service provider or technology environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
Deep understanding of datacenter infrastructure components including storage compute networking and security with proven experience in integrating these solutions into enterprise environments.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program or senior project management roles.
Experience working closely with senior leadership and managing cross-functional teams.
Extensive experience with large/complex project budgets including accurate billing forecasting daily/weekly financial tracking etc.
Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar is a plus.

Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage financial aspects of complex projects effectively.
Experience supporting pre-sales activities and collaborating closely with account teams to develop compelling solutions.

Skilled in identifying and mitigating project risks and roadblocks to ensure successful delivery.
A proactive results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving project objectives and exceeding customer expectations.

Daily Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to the customer maintaining strong communication and professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Take end to end responsibility for defined projects ensuring delivery meets agreed scope quality and cost parameters.
Build supervise and effectively manage the project team.
Collaborate with account teams on commercial control and financial governance providing accurate and timely financial reporting.
Manage project documentation and governance including Project Initiation Documents and closure reports.
Define and uphold project quality criteria and success factors while ensuring delivery within agreed cost parameters.
Represent the project at project board level providing clear updates and recommendations.
Support presales activities and contribute to the development of compelling project proposals working closely with account managers.
Lead customer engagement during critical phases including scope negotiations change management and issue resolution.
