Architectural Project Manager Location: Greater Houston TX

Overview We are supporting a growing integrated design-build firm that delivers complex industrial energy and infrastructure facilities across the U.S. Unlike traditional architecture roles where drawings are handed off and disappear this role stays engaged from concept through construction working side-by-side with engineering and construction teams to ensure designs are fully buildable and executed as intended.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architectural Project Manager who enjoys ownership accountability and seeing projects come to life in the field-not just on paper.
What Were Looking For A self-driven detail-oriented design professional with strong project leadership skills and hands-on experience managing architectural projects through full project delivery. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced design-build environment juggling multiple projects and collaborating closely with construction teams.

Key Responsibilities -
Lead architectural design projects from conceptual design through construction documentation and construction administration

Manage the production and quality of construction documents ensuring accuracy and constructability

Translate design intent into clear buildable drawings that align with field execution

Coordinate with internal construction engineering and project teams throughout the project lifecycle

Review applicable codes and standards; ensure code compliance across all design phases

Support construction teams during execution to resolve design questions and field conditions

Manage multiple active projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules quality and scope

Travel to project sites across the U.S. as required
Required Background & Experience -
6 years of experience in a professional architectural/design environment

Experience working under or alongside a licensed architect
-
Bachelors degree in Architecture (required)

Proven experience delivering projects from schematic design through construction

Strong working knowledge of Revit

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

Highly organized proactive collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience -
Experience supporting industrial energy or infrastructure projects

Exposure to mission-critical facilities

Experience coordinating with PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Building) systems

Prior experience in design-build or integrated delivery environments
