Responsible for induction of staff in the organisation by ensuring a regular induction program implemented & followed.
Responsible for implementation of MSF South Asia HR policies and practices in India.
Responsible for adherence to the local labour laws and steer through the FCRA revision process.
Accountable for ensuring smooth human resources management processes and procedures in accordance with MSF guidelines and country legislation in India.
Accompany managers and employees through the application and implementation of various HR Talent programs such as recruitment onboarding performance and development
Accompany managers and employees through performance improvement plans and/or any disciplinary measures.
Take initiative on HR processes that are being delayed in order to support the assigned departments in achieving their desired objectives carrying out tasks that can range from administrative to strategic in nature
Work alongside team members to ensure that MSF South Asias values and principles are upheld in daily interactions and work relationships ensuring mutual respect transparency and a positive and safe work environment.
HR Business Partnering and people management
HR Business Partnering and work closely with function heads and employees "on the front line" providing hands-on and strategic input insight and advice on people-related issues: talent management employee relations coaching/development compensation conflict management
Conducts regular meetings with respective departments and provide day to day HR support & guidance
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements industry trends related to day-to-day management of employees reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Support in reviewing organizations policies procedures and practices on personnel matters in line with changes in global MSF movement country legislations DEI and other relevant internal and external factors.
Strengthens internal communication communicates changes in the organizations personnel policies and procedures in a clear and transparent manner and ensures that proper compliance is followed.
HR Partnering with Projects in India
Responsible for ensuring the compliances & documentation of HR for the projects managed by MSF SA in India.
Conduct internal control check with the Mission HR Coordinator & HR Focal Point of the project on quarterly basis.
Also visit to these projects on need basis.
Submit the report to the management on the internal control check raise any issues/gaps identified and find solutions to the gaps along with HR Focal Point & Management
Talent acquisition management and development
Responsible for hiring of all the positions vacant in India.
Prepare JDs ensure approvals publish the position on relevant portals
Advise and coach line managers and staff on development plans individual and team goal setting performance metrics and feedback and career mapping
Accompany managers and employees in onboarding activities planning and coordination
Advise and support managers and employees on Performance Improvement Plans when and as required
Learning & Development
Supports and collaborates on MSF South Asia L&D strategy for India office in collaboration with L&D Advisor & Director HR.
Leading L&D for Office HR in collaboration with Heads of Departments Managers and L&D Advisor on mapping training needs analysis and implement annual training plan.
Co-facilitate induction sessions along with L&D Advisor and facilitate sessions in India as and when required.
Performance Management
Lead and be accountable for the running of the process of performance management for MSF South Asia office in India.
Advise and support the line managers on matters regarding performance management and ensure that they are committed to the system of regular performance reviews for their employees and link with learning and development therein.
HR Administration
Ensuring HR processes are digitised in order to make processes simplified and paperless thereby contributing towards the green goals of the office.
Ensuring smooth timely accurate and effective life cycle management of staff right from onboarding until exit.
Ensure smooth handling of non-Indian staff
Responsible for timely payroll and payments release for staff and consultants audits and compliance for MSF South Asia India office.
Ensure best practices are followed in HR administration.
Employee Relations & Retention
Creates a positive working culture that maximizes staff engagement strengthens internal communications with staff and relevant stakeholders and ensures the provision of appropriate care and well-being measures.
Advise and support managers on employee relations including team building employee engagement and other issues including disciplinary and grievance procedures performance management absence and other matters.
Keep abreast of legislation affecting employee relations policies to ensure MSF South Asia in India is compliant with current regulations. Communicate significant legal changes and implications for MSF South Asia in India to all line managers as required.
Ensuring psychosocial support services are provided to staff and they are aware of the same.

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
Masters or MBA in Human Resource Management or related discipline
Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)
4-6 years of substantial experience in Human Resource Management with 3 years in a management position.
Other requirements (Behavioural Language Certifications etc.)
Proficiency and experience in labour laws and legal regulations of India.
Experience in working in an International organization or INGO
MSF experience is desirable
Experience in handling business HR software is desirable
Experience in policy formulations handling end to end of key strategic HR Projects

Compensation (before the statutory deductions): Gross INR 155818 to INR 186056 per month PF and 13th Month bonus additional.
