Job Summary
Oversee the entire construction project lifecycle from design through to completion ensuring adherence to quality cost schedule and safety objectives. The Project Manager leads all execution phases with precision and strong coordination with both the client and design teams to ensure full technical contractual and architectural compliance. The role involves managing large-scale projects such as shopping centers and heavy steel-structure buildings requiring advanced technical coordination and site management expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Plan organize and supervise all site activities.
Oversee the implementation of structural steel framework finishing and fit-out works.
Ensure the technical compliance of the works with execution drawings technical specifications (CCTP) Eurocodes and contractual requirements.
Maintain close and accurate coordination with design and client representatives for reviews approvals and validations.
Manage relationships with control offices consultants and subcontractors.
Prepare and monitor execution schedules monthly progress reports and project documentation.
Anticipate material manpower and logistical requirements for the site.
Lead internal coordination meetings and ensure clear communication with management.
Ensure strict compliance with safety quality and environmental procedures.
Requirements
- Masters degree (Bac5) in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years in construction including at least 7 years managing major projects such as shopping centers or complex buildings with heavy steel structures.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and steel structures. Excellent understanding of technical documents and execution drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office MS Project AutoCAD Revit or Robot Structural Analysis is an advantage.
- Proven leadership with the ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors. Strong planning project monitoring and communication skills with both client and design teams. Excellent organizational negotiation and reporting abilities.
- Fluency in French (reading writing speaking) is mandatory; technical English is an asset.
- Discipline sense of responsibility and anticipation. Team spirit initiative and autonomy. Resilient under pressure with a strong results-oriented mindset.
