Summary

We are seeking a visionary and technically skilled Product Development Manager to lead our efforts in developing and implementing innovative public health products in Abidjan C te dIvoire. This role is crucial for driving product strategy and innovation across a diverse range of public health solutions including vector control sanitation water treatment diagnostics and emergency kits. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset regulatory expertise and a passion for making a significant impact on public health.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Innovation: Lead strategic planning and ideation for products like vector control solutions sanitation products diagnostics and emergency health kits. Identify unmet needs and propose solutions tailored to regional requirements.
Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Manage product registration and approvals with local authorities and ensure compliance with WHO standards. Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Development: Work with R&D sourcing and manufacturing teams to drive product development. Collaborate with Sales Marketing and Customer Service for market insights and adaptation.
Portfolio Management & Product Lifecycle: Oversee product lifecycle from concept to market launch. Conduct cost-benefit analyses and implement optimization strategies.
Project Leadership & Budgeting: Lead development projects with clear milestones and manage budgets for R&D initiatives. Ensure timely delivery of objectives.
Capacity Building & Team Leadership: Recruit and mentor a high-performing team. Conduct training on emerging technologies and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Representation: Present product strategies at forums and collaborate with public health agencies NGOs and donors.

Requirements

Requirements:

Education: Master s (preferred) or Bachelor s degree in Public Health Pharmaceutical Sciences Chemistry Biotechnology or related field.
Experience: 10 12 years in product development or technical management in public health products with a focus on Africa or Francophone West Africa. Proven track record in delivering products like insecticides and diagnostics.
Skills & Traits: Fluent in French; strong English proficiency. Strong technical acumen project management and leadership skills. Creativity adaptability and a passion for improving health outcomes. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service.
