Job Summary
Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of multiple building construction projects from site mobilization to handover.
Direct project managers and senior project managers on all operational aspects.
Oversee budgets schedules quality and safety on construction sites.
Manage relationships with clients subcontractors suppliers and other stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks resolve on-site issues and make critical operational decisions.
Implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
Coordinate closely with procurement commercial and site teams to ensure smooth execution.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field.
Minimum 20 years of experience in building construction contracting with at least 5 years leading multiple large-scale projects.
Proven track record managing large-scale commercial residential or institutional projects as a contractor not in a design or consultancy firm.
Fluent in French with a good command of English.
Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Deep knowledge of project management contract administration and construction regulations.
Experience working in Africa is highly desirable.
Strategic thinking and operational problem-solving.
Budget and financial management of construction projects.
Contract negotiation and subcontractor management.
Team leadership and people development on-site and in offices.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
