Help Children Build Confidence and Independence
At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) our Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) support children with autism in developing communication social and daily living skills through play-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
Were looking for caring dependable professionals who are passionate about helping children reach their potential. Whether youre new to ABA or already certified as an RBT youll receive the training mentorship and support you need to thrive.
Position Details
- Location: Virginia Beach VA
- Setting: Clinic-based and in-home ABA therapy (flexibility required)
- Schedule: MondayFriday 12:00 PM7:00 PM
- Employment Type: Full-time or part-time
- Reports To: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Compensation:
- Behavior Technician: $17.00$21.00/hr (based on experience)
- RBT Certified: $21.50$26.00/hr (based on experience & certification)
What Youll Do
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in clinic or home settings
- Implement treatment and behavior plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect and record accurate session data using digital tools
- Support childrens communication social and independence skill development
- Maintain a structured engaging learning environment
- Collaborate professionally with the clinical team and families

- Able to travel locally for in-home sessions (as needed)
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
- Ability to complete training and background checks
Preferred:
- Active RBT certification
- Experience working with children (e.g. childcare education camps or similar)
- Interest in psychology education or behavior analysis
