Job Summary
Job Summary
The Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician is responsible for monitoring supporting and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure including network server and telecommunications environments. This role focuses on identifying and escalating incidents maintaining system reliability and supporting continuous improvement of IT operations.
What Youll Do

Proactively monitor network server and telecommunications infrastructure

Identify document and escalate alerts incidents and issues requiring urgent action

Monitor and review data backups to ensure system availability and reliability

Create update and distribute operational and performance reports

Maintain and contribute to an internal IT knowledge base

Verify compliance with established IT guidelines processes and policies

Maintain troubleshoot and repair infrastructure hardware and software

Assist with patch management and system updates

Install and configure computer hardware and related components

Identify recommend and implement operational and process improvements
What You Need to Have
-
Associates degree in Information Technology Computer Systems or equivalent related experience with a focus on systems infrastructure

3 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure including server administration support and implementation

3 years of experience with virtualization security networking databases and storage technologies

Ability to thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills
