Job Summary
- Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
- Develop detailed project plans schedules resource allocation and timelines to guide project execution.
- Lead cross-functional project teams including developers engineers QA specialists business analysts and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage scope changes through formal change control processes ensuring proper evaluation and communication of project impacts.
- Foster collaboration within the project team encouraging a shared sense of responsibility for project success.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients providing regular updates on project status managing expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Identify assess and manage project risks proactively developing contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and manage project budgets ensuring project costs stay within approved limits while delivering on key objectives.
- Oversee resource allocation ensuring optimal use of personnel and tools and anticipate future resource needs.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards including client and internal benchmarks through comprehensive testing and review processes.
- Ensure that projects comply with security privacy and legal requirements especially when dealing with sensitive data or client information.
- Monitor day-to-day project activities to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and deliverables meet client specifications.
- Where applicable lead agile project teams by facilitating sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives
Requirements
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering Business Management or a related field. A Masters degree in Project Management or Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage. At least 5 years of experience in project management with at least 2 years managing IT or business technology solutions projects. Proven track record of delivering complex projects involving software development system integration or IT infrastructure. Experience in managing client relationships working with cross-functional teams and delivering business-critical solutions. Experience in managing remote or distributed teams and projects.
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering Business Management or a related field. A Masters degree in Project Management or Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.
