About The Role
Were looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join our Finance team reporting to the Finance Manager. This role is responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Payable function - from managing supplier queries and processing invoices to preparing payment runs and driving process improvements.
What Youll Do
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions including vendor setup invoice processing debtor invoicing and payment runs.
- Work with the team to assist in the rollout of TechOne.
- Perform reconciliations across creditors debtors bank accounts credit cards and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of half-year and annual reporting and support external audit requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries chase outstanding debts and ensure timely payments.
- Contribute to process improvements by reviewing current practices and driving efficiencies across the finance team.
- Assist the Finance Manager in monitoring compliance with policies processes controls and governance requirements.
What Youll Bring
- Minimum 2 years experience in Accounts Payable or as a Finance Officer
- Proactive detail-oriented and skilled at managing time and competing priorities
- Confident using MS Excel; Microsoft Dynamics GP experience is a plus
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to see the bigger pictureStrong commercial awareness with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Eager to learn grow and contribute within a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-focused mindset
- Able to initiate process improvements and build strong stakeholder relationships
