Job Summary

Your Opportunity: 

Forming part of CFO Advisory that sits within our Financial Risk Advisory team as aSenior Consultant you will work with some of the countrys leading clients and the wider national team in a positive collaborative and team focused environment. This role is ideally suited to candidates seeking a first move out of external audit/assurance or who have had direct work experience in a finance function and who are seeking an opportunity to enhance their problem solving skills with deep finance and commercial advisory experience.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the delivery of complex projects including end to end project management developing key client deliverables preparing client reports and presentations and liaising with senior leadership and external advisors
  • Assist with the implementation of new financial or regulatory reporting systems and policies for our clients design and implement sound governance and control frameworks across their end to end financial and regulatory processes embed clear accountability and ownership within their organisations and recommend process improvements
  • Analyse risks and design controls across complex business processes as our clients transform their businesses
  • Provide high-quality technical accounting advice across multiple sectors
  • Work in cross divisional teams on pre and post deal finance function set-up engagements supporting our clients to realise value and synergies from their merger and acquisition activities
  • Perform data analysis to understand data quality and to inform and support robust decision making for our clients and promote effective decision making using financial tools
  • Support our strategic initiatives including assisting with the development of innovative solutions and taking those solutions to market.

How are you extraordinary: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications including CA or equivalent (completed or currently undertaking) coupled with relevant experience in audit advisory or assurance in Professional Services or in industry
  • A commercial and analytical mindset with well-developed written and verbal communication skills and strong project management skills
  • Experience in leading teams and providing training and guidance to build performance
  • Have an enquiring mind and a willingness to tackle new and emerging challenges and problem solve

Qualifications :

A Chartered Accountants (CA) qualification or equivalent
