About the role:

We are seeking a Finance Analyst for our Early Years portfolio while supporting system policy and process improvements that enhance organisational capability.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analyst with strong technical skills and excellent stakeholder engagement.

In this role you will:

  • Prepare management reports for the executive team and monthly financial reporting and analysis for programs
  • Preparation of budget and quarterly forecasts Support financial systems transformation including Sage Intacct implementation and integration with other platforms
  • Provide high-quality reporting variance analysis and insights for decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders translating complex financial information for non-finance audiences

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Finance or similar
  • CA or CPA qualified or working towards
  • Minimum 5 years experience in finance in an analyst role
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
  • Experience in reporting budgeting and forecasting
  • Demonstrated experience in the NFP or human services sector including fund/grant reporting
  • Demonstrated experience using excel and business intelligence tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and organisational skills
