The Company Security Manager provides strategic oversight of all security operations ensuring
the protection of company assets personnel and infrastructure. This role develops and enforces
security policies manages incident response and coordinates with law enforcement and regional
teams to safeguard business continuity..
Prime responsibilities and duties
Security Strategy & Leadership
Develop and implement corporate security policies standards and procedures.
Provide leadership and coordination for security operations across all business units.
Anticipate and respond to security threats ensuring risk mitigation.
Operational Security Management
Oversee physical security systems surveillance and access controls.
Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability studies.
Direct investigations into security breaches theft and fraud.
Crisis Management & Compliance
Lead emergency response and crisis management plans.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal security requirements.
Maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and security service providers.
Team & Stakeholder Engagement
Supervise regional security officers and operatives.
Provide training to staff on security awareness and emergency procedures.
Collaborate with governance risk and audit teams to align security with corporate
objectives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Criminology & Security Management or related field.
- Must have at least 7 years of experience working in a similar field. OR retired personnel of the Armed Forces (Captain to Colonel or Warrant Officer)
- Professional security certifications (CPP PSP CISSP) desirable
- Evidence that he has worked in similar field after dis-engagement from the Force will be an added advantage.
- Must have experience in the field of security management of large groups or organizations.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong investigative and crisis management expertise.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
