Business Consulting | Data Governance Consultant

• Lead and manage transversal Data & AI transformation projects from strategy definition to implementation and follow-up.

  • Create and deploy the Data Governance framework policies and procedures to ensure the integrity availability and accuracy of organizational data.

  • Ensure adherence to relevant data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR) and internal policies managing access controls and consent.

  • Define and manage metadata standards taxonomies and ontologies. Maintain and update the data repository/catalog documenting data assets lineage and relationships.

  • Conduct data quality assessments identify gaps define metrics (KPIs) and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Data Stewards and business units to assign data ownership responsibilities and promote data management best practices.

  • Lead workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders across the organization on the importance of Data Governance.

• Stay updated on trends and best practices in Data Governance and digital transformation.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Management Engineering Computer Science Information Systems or a related field. A Masters degree in Data Analytics Cybersecurity or related areas is a strong plus.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management consulting Data Governance or data quality roles.

• Deep understanding of Data Governance principles Data Quality Management and Data Privacy.

• Query Languages: Proficiency in SQL (mandatory).

• Experience with Metadata Management Data Catalog tools (e.g. Collibra Alation Azure Purview AWS Glue) and Data Quality tools.

• Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts and Cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).

• Expertise in digital transformation methodologies (Lean Agile Design Thinking).

• Strong communication leadership and strategic thinking skills.

• Ability to deliver results manage stakeholders and adapt to change.

• Fluency in English both written and spoken.

• Certifications (Valued): CDPSE CIPP DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
