ECT: Humanities Teacher Shape a Progressive Inclusive Curriculum - Barking
A progressive inclusive secondary school in the Barking is looking for an ECT of Humanities to start in January 2026.
- ECT: Humanities Teacher required from January 2026

You will teach RE History and/or Geography at KS3/4. The induction includes training on implementing innovative assessment practices and using the curriculum to promote well-rounded global citizenship within an inclusive school culture.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS or completing final training in a Humanities Subject
- A strong commitment to inclusive teaching practices and differentiation.
- Willingness to embrace progressive pedagogical approaches and EdTech.
- Enthusiasm for leading discussion and promoting critical thinking skills.
