Job Summary
A large and well-resourced secondary school in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham is seeking a proactive Science Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis from January. This role supports a busy and successful science department.
Job Overview
You will be responsible for:
Preparing materials and equipment for practical science lessons
Supporting safe and effective laboratory practice
Managing chemical storage and equipment maintenance
Assisting with COSHH documentation and risk assessments
Ensuring laboratories meet health & safety standards
Supporting teachers during practical activities where required
Maintaining an organised and efficient working environment
