Job Summary

This role is focused on driving sales performance and ensuring operational excellence across assigned accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets maintaining strong relationships with customers and ensuring proper execution of in-store operations and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Account Management

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Manage expenses within approved budgets.

  • Maintain a daily call rate of 8 customer visits.

  • Conduct thorough pre-call planning and preparation.

  • Implement weekly cyclical and annual call plans.

  • Assign sales value targets per customer factoring in historical performance.

Call Execution Activities

  • Place customer orders and verify accurate stock levels.

  • Ensure compliance of listed items and proper merchandising.

  • Maintain clean and functional shelf trays and displays.

  • Monitor stock rotation and pressure acting on near-dated items.

  • Ensure pricing labels are current and correct.

  • Build strong relationships with store managers and staff.

  • Negotiate for free-standing displays and additional shelf space.

Promotional Review

  • Review and discuss promotional progress with store managers/owners.

  • Ensure proper execution of promotions including:

    • Increased shelf space and eye-level product placement

    • Gondola end or shelf displays

    • Temporary price reductions

    • Increased stock holding

  • Monitor sales outflow during promotional periods.

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Submit weekly reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

  • Provide monthly performance summaries by area highlighting successes and challenges.

  • Develop action plans for underperforming accounts.

  • Use digital tools to capture and manage call data.

  • Collaborate with merchandising partners and supervise in-store merchandisers.

  • Maintain regular communication with the Regional Sales Manager.

  • Report non-compliance issues promptly.
