Subject to the completion of training and passing the assessment the staff will be appointed as PCA I with monthly salary of $24875.

Key Responsibilities:
1. | To assist clinical psychologists in enhancing psychosocial services including: (a) Carry out protocol-based psychological screening assessment (b) Assist in preparing psycho-educational materials (c) Assist in planning and implementing psycho-educational programs or activities (d) Collect organize and input clinical information related to patient care clinical outcome measures and research (e) Participate in service development activities. (f) Assist other team members for the provision of multi-disciplinary care (g) Provide administrative support |

3. | To liaise with service co-organizers both within and outside the Cluster; |
4. | To compile statistics and to prepare reports for special events projects and services; |

Entry Requirements:
1. 2. 3. 4. | A university degree in Psychology or related field; Completed the Corporate Patient Care Assistant (Psychology Assistant) Training Program organized by Hospital Authority (HA) (See Remarks); At least 6 months of relevant experience (See Remark); Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken Cantonese. |
Preferred Attributes:
1. | Possess working experience in health care settings. |
2. | Experience or interest in working with children adult and elderly or to work in multiple medical settings. |
3. 4. 5. 6. | Proficiency in PC applications especially in database management and statistical packages (e.g SPSS). Empathetic pleasant and mature personality. Interested to work in hospital environment. Self-motivated and able to work independently. |
