Job Summary
Batteries Plus is looking for an IT Application Developer I to join our dynamic IT this role youll support the design development and maintenance of custom software applications that keep our business running efficiently. Working closely with analysts engineers and other developers youll help create high-quality scalable solutions that meet the needs of our growing organization. This is a great opportunity to apply your technical skills learn new technologies and make a real impact in a collaborative environment.
What Youll Do
Assist in the design development and maintenance of custom software applications based on user and business requirements
Write clean reusable and maintainable code following established standards and best practices
Test debug and validate software to ensure quality and performance
Collaborate with analysts and developers to identify system improvements and enhance user experiences
Support the deployment and installation of new applications and updates
Analyze existing applications to identify defects and recommend improvements
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment
Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to process and system enhancements
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of software development experience preferred
Proficiency with:
Languages/Frameworks: C# MVC
Tools/Technologies: Visual Studio HTML CSS XML AJAX JavaScript
Exposure to: SharePoint BizTalk LINQ Entity Framework Azure DevOps TFS jQuery XSL/XSLT WCF or automated testing frameworks
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative IT environment
