Requires in depth knowledge of supported operating systems utilities vendor
products applicable programming languages diagnostic techniques terminal dialog
techniques job control and scripting/clist languages database management systems
teleprocessing monitors benchmarking methodologies applicable communications
protocols applicable hardware configurations use of statistical and analytical tools for
system monitoring and depth knowledge of technology network data
and applications architectures. Should be proficient in use of desktop-based
productivity applications.
Day-To-Day
Primarily responsible for providing administrative support for Middleware (IBM
MQ) initiatives from a technical perspective throughout the enterprise.
Work collaboratively with other team members on various engineering
implementation and Middleware system support efforts pertaining to HCA
business financial and clinical systems.
From an operational support perspective: ensure system reliability and
availability disaster recovery planning problem determination escalation and
problems resolution for all Middleware products.
Establish and maintain priority for repair of down platforms and changes to
meet schedules and Service Level Agreements.
Responsible for providing communicating and implementing Root Cause and
Irreversible Corrective Remediation for Critical Incidents.

5 years of applicable experience and training.
