Job Description:
Positions General Duties and Tasks
- As a Salesforce Admin Developer you will be responsible for both administrative and development tasks on the Salesforce platform to support business processes drive user adoption and deliver scalable solutions.
Your primary duties include:
- System Configuration and AdministrationManage user profiles roles permissions workflows approval processes validation rules and custom objects.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including data backups sandbox refreshes and system health checks.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Salesforce Development
- Develop custom applications using Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and other Salesforce technologies.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using APIs middleware or native connectors.
- Customize page layouts record types custom fields and Lightning components to enhance the user experience.
- Business Process Automation
- Implement and optimize automation using Flows Process Builder and Apex triggers.
- Support business units by gathering requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Deployment and Change Management
- Use tools like Change Sets ANT and Salesforce DX to manage deployments between environments.
- Maintain version control and CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Training and Support
- Provide ongoing user support and training to enhance adoption and ensure effective use of Salesforce.
- Document processes release notes and system changes.
Requirements for This Role Include
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 3 years of experience in Salesforce administration and development.
Certifications:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (required)
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)
Hands-on experience with:
- Apex programming SOQL/SOSL
- Lightning Experience and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Process Automation tools (Flows Workflow Rules Process Builder)
- Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs Middleware tools like MuleSoft)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and security architecture.
- Familiarity with source control (e.g. Git) and deployment tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferences Optional (Nice-to-Haves)
- Salesforce Platform Developer II Advanced Administrator or App Builder certifications.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools like Copado Gearset or Jenkins for Salesforce.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (ERP Marketing Cloud etc.).
- Familiarity with Einstein Analytics or Tableau CRM.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ Experience Cloud or Service Cloud.
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g. finance healthcare) with compliance requirements.
