Overview:
Our client is looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations at a leading restaurant group. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food excellent technical skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen management and team supervision.
- Maintain high standards of food preparation presentation and hygiene.
- Assist in menu planning stock control and ordering.
- Lead kitchen operations during the Head Chefs absence.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Uphold safety and hygiene standards according to industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years experience as a Sous Chef in a fine-dining or luxury hospitality setting.
- Strong culinary and leadership skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Own transport essential.
