Job Summary

Our client a fast-growing fast food and beverage café are looking for an energetic and creative Chef to join them. The ideal candidate will prepare a variety of quick meals snacks hot beverages smoothies and shakes while maintaining excellent quality hygiene and speed of service.

Location: Wangige Kiambu County

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook fast food items such as fries burgers sandwiches and wraps.
Make a variety of hot beverages including espresso cappuccino latte tea and hot chocolate.
Prepare smoothies milkshakes and cold drinks using blenders and juicers.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and preparation areas.
Ensure all food and beverages meet café quality standards.
Monitor stock levels and inform management when supplies are low.
Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines.
Support the front-of-house team during busy periods.
Suggest new recipes or beverage ideas that align with customer preferences.

Working Hours

Full-time position flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts Food Production or related field.
12 years of experience in a fast food or café environment preferred.
Barista or beverage preparation experience is an added advantage.
Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
