RecruitNet International is inviting applications for the role of an EU Health care Assistant to state-of-the-art Nursing Home based in Co Dublin.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the nursing staff in giving our residents excellent comprehensive care
- Maintaining residents dignity at all times while making sure their personal care and hygiene requirements are met to the highest standards
- Helping residents consume food and liquids in accordance with their nutritional requirements
- Helping residents use the right tools and mobilize as needed
- As instructed by the nursing staff escorting or transferring residents
- Helping with Care at the End of Life
- Any other tasks that management and the nurse determine are required.
Requirements
- A relevant healthcare qualification or QQI Level 5 in healthcare is required.
- While not required prior experience in a care setting is preferred.
- We are exclusively hiring EU nationals for this role.
- Outstanding communication abilities and a kind compassionate disposition.
- possess a strong command of the English language
- Ability to work a variety of shifts from Monday through Sunday including nights weekends and days
