Position: QA Automation Engineer (100% Remote - Porto preferred)
So what does it mean to be a QA Automation Engineer at Nimber
It means being the guardian of quality across the entire delivery lifecycle. Youll design and maintain automated frameworks run E2E and API tests validate performance and make sure every release meets the highest standards.
What youll be doing (in epic fashion):
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks that are robust and scalable.
- Implement End-to-End (E2E) testing for functional and regression coverage.
- Perform API and backend validation to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Conduct performance and load testing to guarantee scalability under stress.
- Apply BDD principles using frameworks like SpecFlow or Reqnroll to align technical and business requirements.
- Integrate automated tests into Azure CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with developers QA and DevOps to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
- Identify analyze and report defectsdriving continuous improvement.
What were looking for:
Mandatory:
- Strong experience with E2E testing tools (Selenium Playwright).
- Solid API testing skills (Postman SOAPUI or similar).
- Proven experience with performance/load testing (JMeter or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with C# .
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (SpecFlow Reqnroll).
- Knowledge of Azure pipelines and Git for CI/CD.
Valued:
- Experience designing maintainable automation using patterns like Page Object Model (POM).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- A mindset focused on scalability reliability and innovation.
