Role Overview

The TestAutomation Engineer will join a centralized Test Center responsiblefor delivering automated testingservices based on a mature and proven testing strategy role focuses on the designdevelopment execution and maintenance of automated test scriptswhile also contributing to knowledgesharing and training of team members.

This position supports critical applicationsacross key business domains and plays a strategic role in improving test quality efficiency and return oninvestment (ROI).

Main Responsibilities

TestAutomation Strategy & Scoping

Define and implement the test automation strategywithin projects

Plan and manage the rollout of automated test scripts

Estimate budgettimelines and ROI for automation initiatives

Perform Proofof Concepts (POCs) to assess technical feasibility ofautomation

Development& Execution of Automated Tests

Translate business requirements into Gherkin scenarios inclose collaboration with business and technical teams

Actively participate in Three Amigos sessions

Develop and maintain GUI automated test scriptsusing:

* Selenium (Java)

* WebdriverIO (JavaScript)

* Gherkin Cucumber Maven

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines or createnew pipelines using Jenkinsor GitLab CI

Set up and maintain test automation infrastructureusing Docker and Kubernetes

Debug automation execution issues andcontinuously improve test frameworks

Analyze and document test results

Provide Go/ No-Go input

Identify and report risks related to quality or deliverytimelines

Provide regular progress updates to management

KnowledgeSharing & Training

Train developers and junior testers on execution development and maintenanceof automated tests

Train team members on Gherkin and BDD practices

Continuously update skills and share knowledgeon industry best practicesand emerging automation tools

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

Minimum6 years of experience in TestAutomation

Strong expertise in GUI test automation

Atleast 2 years of hands-on experience with:

* Selenium(Java)

* WebdriverIO(JavaScript)

* GherkinCucumber Maven

* Jenkins

* IntelliJ

Experience with Postman and JSON

Experience creating Docker images andmanaging test environments

Experience building CI/CD pipelines

Experience with ALM Octane

Strong riskidentification and follow-up skills

Additional TechnicalKnowledge (Valued)

System administration experience on Windows and Linux/Unix( WCF WebLogic Apache Tomcat Java EE)

Monitoring and scheduling tools: Geneos Introscope Dynatrace AutosysDollar Universe

Scripting skills (Python Perl Shell SQL)

Knowledge of production processesincluding ITILrelease incident and problem management

Database knowledge: SQL Server and Oracle
