Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Machine Learning Intern with a focus on Computer Vision to join our team. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in developing machine learning models for computer vision applications. You will assist in the design development and deployment of computer vision solutions for real-world problems such as object detection facial recognition and image analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing developing and deploying machine learning models for computer vision applications including image and video analysis object detection and facial recognition.
- Work with datasets to help train and validate machine learning models.
- Assist in optimizing and improving the performance of machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow PyTorch and Keras.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and contribute to the delivery of scalable solutions.
- Help implement machine learning solutions on edge devices for real-time inference.
- Stay up to date with the latest research and trends in machine learning and computer vision.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field with coursework or projects focused on Machine Learning/Computer Vision.
- Proficiency in Python or other programming languages commonly used in machine learning.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch or Keras.
- Basic understanding of computer vision tasks such as image classification object detection and image segmentation.
- Willingness to learn and improve skills in machine learning and computer vision.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to collaborate in a team setting.
- A strong interest in AI and computer vision technologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience or coursework related to edge computing platforms (e.g. Nvidia Jetson Raspberry Pi) is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience working with real-time applications or systems is a plus.
