Job Summary
The opportunity
Downers Water business is seeking a Senior Zero Harm Advisor to join our NG4D delivery team. This role is pivotal in supporting our commitment to safety and environmental excellence across our operations. Reporting to the Regional Zero Harm Manager you will lead develop and advise on Downer Zero Harm standards and legislative requirements ensuring our teams are equipped to deliver work safely and responsibly.
Youll be instrumental in promoting a culture of safety conducting audits and inspections supporting incident investigations and coaching work crews on safe work methodologies. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team and make a meaningful impact on the health and safety outcomes of our projects.
What were looking for
- A minimum Certificate IV in WHS (Diploma/Degree in WHS desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and ICAM Lead Investigator qualifications (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in operational or safety roles within Water Utilities or Civil Construction
- Strong working knowledge of Health Safety & Environment Management systems
- Excellent communication coaching and relationship management skills
- Proven ability to manage incident reporting investigations and compliance audits
Youll be self-motivated detail-oriented and capable of influencing safe behaviours across diverse teams.
