Job Summary

Job Description
90% Holds a 1-hour office hour every week during which the ambassador will give tours of Capitol Federal Hall to visiting prospective students/families or assist with other tasks as assigned by the Director and/or Assistant Director of Undergraduate Recruitment.
10% Ambassadors are required to assist with tours during various required events throughout the 2025-2026 school year with three mandatory Saturday events.

Work Schedule
Flexible could work up to 10 hours per week with a few Saturday events. Not to exceed 20 hours weekly.

  1. The student must be a current business undergraduate meaning they have at least one business major.
  2. Student must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
  3. Student must be able to fulfill hourly requirements of ambassador position (2-10 hours p/week subject to change).


  1. Student is actively involved in School of Business and university-wide student organizations.
  2. Student has experience and comfortability with public speaking as demonstrated in resume and cover letter materials.
  3. Student has attention to detail and time management.
  4. Studenthas a flexible work/class schedule that can accommodate the changing needs of the position.


Position Overview
Undergraduate Recruitment Ambassadors work closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Undergraduate Recruitment for the School of Business to recruit prospective students to the program. The Ambassadors serve a very important role in the recruitment process as they represent the School of Business student population and share their own experiences with the college search process being a current student etc. with visiting prospective students and families.

Throughout their employment student employees will maintain and manifest positive actions that align with and support the Code of Conduct for the School of Business.

What experiences or skills do you possess that will help contribute to the recruitment of prospective students (i.e. high school students and transfer students).

Position Requirements
During the semester term of the appointment the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).

Employment Conditions
(1) Student employees are not eligible for remote work arrangements unless an exception is approved by the unit leadership and HR.

(2) This is an hourly/non-exempt position. A student employee cannot hold an hourly/non-exempt position and a salaried/exempt graduate or undergraduate position (GRA/GTA/GA/RUA/RGA) concurrently.
