Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry
Location: Gastonia NC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) Every Other Weekend
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in monitoring cardiac patients managing complex drips and providing post-surgical care with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care and monitoring for telemetry and post-surgical patients.
Administer and manage cardiac drips (including Cardene and Insulin).
Accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ensure accurate documentation in patient medical records and maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Promote patient safety education and comfort at all times.
Qualifications:
Active RN License (State of North Carolina or Compact State).
Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Telemetry or Cardiac Step-Down Unit.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Experience with cardiac drips and rhythm interpretation is essential.
Excellent critical thinking communication and organizational skills.
Schedule Details:
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Rotation: Every other weekend
Contract Length: 13 weeks
