Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Compensation:
Local Rate: $60$65/hour
Travel Rate: $70$75/hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a float team at a healthcare facility in Falmouth Massachusetts. The RN will coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care provide patient and family education and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe high-quality nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices
Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses
Manage telemetry monitoring IV therapy cardiac medications and chest drainage devices
Provide care for post-operative orthopedic geriatric adult and adolescent patients
Respond effectively to urgent and emergency situations
Document accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Manage pain control restraints advance directives and end-of-life care
Identify and report suspected neglect or abuse in accordance with legal requirements
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active Massachusetts RN license
BLS certification required
Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN experience
Strong IV skills; must be able to perform own phlebotomy
Travel experience preferred
