Local: $57/hour
Travel: $66/hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for adult Medical-Surgical / Telemetry units in an acute care hospital setting. This role is ideal for clinicians who thrive in fast-paced environments and are confident delivering high-quality patient care with minimal orientation and supervision. Experience in large or trauma-designated hospitals is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
Perform detailed nursing assessments and continuously monitor cardiac telemetry
Initiate IV access draw laboratory specimens and administer medications
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document care and patient status using the electronic medical record
Adhere to all hospital policies procedures and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Required:

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification (must be current or able to recertify prior to start)
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent acute care hospital experience
Proven ability to interpret telemetry rhythms
Proficiency with IV insertions and general bedside nursing skills

Preferred:

Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers
Prior experience using EPIC Electronic Medical Records
