Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a proven background in leading clinical teams within a nursing home environment This Deputy Nurse Manager position offers an excellent opportunity for a confident proactive clinician who takes pride in delivering outstanding care and guiding others to do the same.
Youll bring expertise in areas such as dementia care safeguarding supervisions and clinical risk management ensuring the highest standards of practice across the home. Working closely with the Home Manager youll provide strong leadership inspire your colleagues and play a key role in maintaining a safe compassionate and well-managed service where residents truly feel at home.
What Were Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with active NMC pin.
- Proven experience in a senior or deputy role within a nursing home setting.
- Strong knowledge of dementia care and person-centred support.
- Confident in managing supervisions mentoring staff and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication organisational and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead motivate and mentor the clinical and care team to deliver exceptional nursing care.
- Oversee clinical risk assessments care planning and medication management.
- Support and conduct staff supervisions appraisals and training initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding CQC regulations and best practice standards.
- Collaborate with residents families and external professionals to promote wellbeing and dignity.
- Take charge in the absence of the Home Manager ensuring smooth daily operations.
