Job Summary
Key Activities/Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project workflow with various ESG divisions & external suppliers.
- Maintain supplier quote information for certain sites in specific ERP systems.
- Request and analyze pricing proposals from potential suppliers and communicate results to team members.
- Support the implementation of various procurement sourcing tools services & processes and then maintain the on-going functionality.
- Prepare enterprise-wide spend rollup information from numerous sites utilizing different ERP systems.
- Prepare and track support materials for various projects.
- Other duties as assigned such as organizing supplier meetings preparing presentations various time-sensitive assignments.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Business Operations Management or other related area required; or minimum of 5 years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment in lieu of degree
- A minimum of 5 years of procurement in experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills as this position interacts with people at different levels of the organization within several different groups of Federal Signal and with external companies / suppliers / customers.
- Must be organized and able to effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously on schedule.
- Strong attention to detail especially with the use of MS Excel and other Office products.
- Must have working knowledge of JD Edwards required; Syteline Syspro and Epicor preferred.
- Must have experience within related purchase commodities associated with OEM mobile equipment manufacturing
- Travel is minimal. Must be effective with virtual meetings.
Salary Range for this position is $72000-$80000
