The Opportunity:
As the Resident Liaison Officerat Bishop Tyrell Place you will be a dynamic and motivated professional accustomed to juggling competing priorities. As well as providing clerical support to managers and staff you will act as a liaison for residents and relatives ensuring excellent care and a quality lifestyle are provided to all residents by meeting their social and wellbeing needs.
- This role is 4 days per week.

Qualifications/Essential:
- NDIS Worker screening clearance.
- Australian work rights
- National Police Check (the Diocese will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).
Role & Responsibilities:
- Consult with stakeholders as relevant to the role ensuring effective communication with the Anglican Care team and external suppliers in all aspects of service delivery.
- Assist in ensuring each consumer gets safe and effective services and supports for daily living that meet the consumers needs goals and preferences and optimise their independence wellbeing and quality of life.
- Submit reports to the appropriate authority as required.
- Maintain Register of Planned Ongoing Respite admissions.
- In consultation with the Residential Care Manager and Customer Service Officer organise Consumer admissions ensuring a current ACCR is available on admission.
- Interview prospective Resident and their relatives regarding the processes of admission.
- Notify Residential Care Manager RN and Customer Service Officer of arrival of new Consumer.
- Arrange transport of Consumers to appointments when necessary.
- Promote positive relationships with relatives and friends provide emotional support to Consumers and their families on admission and during the settling in period at the time of admission and at other times as might be deemed appropriate by the Residential Care Manager.
- To meet new Self Care Consumers as advised by the Retirement Living Coordinator and to complete logs or all contact made with S/C consumers including monitoring their absences.
- Consult with stakeholders as relevant to the role ensuring effective communication with the Anglican Care team and external suppliers in all aspects of service delivery.
- Contribute to the assessment of emotional and social needs when movement of Consumers within the organisation is considered necessary. This should be addressed at the placement Meeting.
