Job Summary

Applications are invited for appointment as Clinical Practitioner (holding the title of Clinical Lecturer) (several posts) in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533542) to commence on July 1 2026 on a three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong with an interest in pursuing a career integrating clinical practice and academic pursuits. They should also have a strong passion and dedication for teaching. Those who require post-internship clinical experience at a recognized practising site for special training purpose are welcome to apply.

The appointees will support our expanding clinical and teaching activities. They may also participate in research activities out of their own interest.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
