Job Summary

Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong is a through-train day school known for its warm and friendly global community made up of over 40 nationalities. Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong (NAIS HK) is a proud COBIS (Council of British International Schools) Training School and BSO (British Schools Overseas) accredited day school. We are a warm friendly and professional global community of over 40 nationalities. Since opening in 2014 we have provided exceptional personalised learning for students aged 3 to 18 across our dedicated Early Years Primary and Secondary campuses in Sai Kung Lam Tin and Kwun Tong. From August 2026 we will be adding a new 6th Form Centre at a prestigious location overlooking Hong Kong Harbour. The Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from passionate and dedicated Primary Class Teachers (Key Stage 1) to join our outstanding Primary team. The role:

As a qualified Key Stage 1 Teacher you would be instrumental in driving excellence. Your key responsibilities would include:

  • Delivering dynamic inclusive and effective lessons that foster a love for learning.
  • Developing and implementing well-structured lesson plans and curricula aligned with the English National Curriculum and contributing to our IB journey.
  • Utilising rigorous assessment and providing timely impactful feedback to support each students progress.
  • Employing data-driven strategies and integrating technology to meet diverse learning needs and enhance educational experiences.
  • Fostering creativity critical thinking and problem-solving skills in young learners.
  • Nurturing student wellbeing and contributing to a positive school culture as a dedicated Form Tutor.
  • Leading and supporting enrichment activities school events and initiatives that boost student engagement and community spirit.
  • Building strong collaborative partnerships with parents through clear consistent communication.
  • Engaging actively in our continuous professional development programmes curriculum innovation and quality assurance processes.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Education or a relevant degree with a PGCE.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A minimum of 2 years teaching experiences ideally within a UK and/or international school setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the English National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 and related pedagogical best practices.
  • A proven ability to plan deliver and evaluate high-quality lessons and raise standards for all learners.
  • Experience in integrating educational technology effectively to enhance learning.
  • Awareness of current educational developments and a commitment to innovation.
  • Strong skills in assessment reporting and using data to inform teaching.
  • A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
  • Eligibility to work in Hong Kong with a clear criminal record from all countries of residence.
