Job Summary

The successful candidate will work within the Design and Technology department supporting teachers and students in delivering a wide range of engaging and hands-on lessons. Key Responsibilities
Preparing and maintaining materials tools and equipment for practical lessons
Assisting staff and students with the safe and effective use of machinery and tools
Ensuring all workshops and storage areas meet health and safety regulations
Supporting the development of displays and project resources
Managing stock levels ordering supplies and carrying out routine maintenance
Requirements
Previous experience as a DT Technician or in a workshop/engineering environment
Good practical and technical skills with knowledge of woodwork metalwork or CAD desirable
Understanding of health and safety procedures within a workshop setting
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Legal right to work in the UK
