Job Summary
Job Title: MET Technician / Mechanic
Location: Romford RM3
Salary: Up to 50000 (depending on experience and qualifications) bonus other excellent benefits listed below
Full-Time and Permanent - Monday to Friday (no weekends)

They are now actively looking to recruit a MET Technician Stripper / Fitter / Mechanic for their Bodyshop in Romford.
Whilst our client would like candidates to come from a MET background within an Accident Repair Bodyshop they will also be happy to consider Level 2 / Level 3 qualified Mechanics / Vehicle Technicians who are from a car dealership background who are happy to move across to the Bodyshop sector.

About the Job
As an experienced MET Technician you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs
- Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop
- Carrying out inspections fault-finding and diagnostic work
- Ordering replacement parts
- Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition
About You
You must be able to:
- Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed on timescales
- Work skillfully and safely under pressure
- Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers specification
- Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision
- Be flexible in your approach
- Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind
- You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
