We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Customer Support Specialist to support Alfa Lavals U.S. Human Resources Shared Services this role youll be instrumental in delivering high-impact HR support across the organizationpartnering with employees managers HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

This is a hybrid role based in Houston TX or Richmond VA.
As a part of the team you will:
Process new hires from time of job offer through first week of hire
Act as first point of contact for inquiries into HR from internal and external clients responding with a high level of customer service professionalism and promptness
Follow set standard operating procedures (SOPs) when completing tickets submitted via the ticket management system (ServiceNow)
Process day-to-day Human Resources transactions accurately enter data into HR systems and databases and ensure proper transmission of HR data to employees and relevant HR stakeholders
Interact with various departments to resolve issues and complete tasks for the greater HR team
In partnership with HR immigration attorneys and employees ensure visa processing is completed for employees requiring visas
Recommend process improvements identify issues and make suggestions that enhance customer service and increase efficiencies
What you know:
You have high energy a positive attitude and enjoy developing relationships in a matrix business addition you have:
A High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree and 2 years HR related customer service preferred
Experience working in an HR Shared Service Center preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
Experience with Workday ADP or similar HCM/HRIS database
Experience working with ServiceNow or other similar ticketing system preferred
Familiarity with a broad range of HR functions

The base salary for this role is typically $29.00 to $32.00 per hour.
